For the past while, there’s been a mini-revival of analog media. 35mm film, music records, cassettes, there’s even been an uptick in movies being recorded in film but the trend is more referring to consumer tech. Here is a completely comprehensive list of reasons to get into it, and reasons not to.

REASONS TO GET INTO ANALOG MEDIA

REASONS NOT TO

1. Because other people are into it 1a. Because you like the aesthetic of other people using it and want to confer that onto yourself
